My prob is if i have the drivers in for this monitor the max windows or games will let me sellect is 1600x1200.
However if i uninstall the driver for the monitor i can select every res upto 2048x1536. This monitor can run at 2048x1536 & still have a usable 70htz refresh rate.
I'm running XP pro & annoyingly it auto finds & installs my monitor drivers on start up As i like gaming in very high resultions i'm having to uninstall the monitor driver everytime i turn this pc on !
Anyway to stop this XP from auto searching & loading missing drivers?
Please dont say disable it in device manager. Tryed that didnt work! Just auto enabled & reinstalled the driver on start up
